Blue Star Singleseed Juniper

Blue Star Juniper: 1-2' ht; 2-4' spread; dense, mounded habit; evergreen; bright silver-blue foliage; small, reddish brown cones mature to purplish black; rusty brown bark exfoliates in papery strips; medium texture; site adaptable; prefers well-drained soil; grows to 2 foot spread in 10 years; very slow growth rate; sun. Singleseed Juniper is usually present in landscapes in the form of one of its cultivars. Like most junipers it tolerates dry soils.
