regarding current customers
What
day of the week is my lawn serviced?
We begin the week with businesses and then move on
to residences. We arrange the residential service
date by location. If you are usually serviced on Monday or
Tuesday and you are having a party or reunion on the weekend,
we will re-visit your property on Saturday morning
as part of your service at no charge.
When
should I expect my bill?
Service invoices are sent out by the 3rd day of the
month. All charges from the previous month are included
on the invoice. Payment for clean-up services or extra jobs or
labor is due upon completion of work.
How
do I arrange extra weekly or annual services?
It is best to use our contact form on the contact
page of the website. You can easily provide us with
the information necessary to get the work estimated
and completed as quickly as possible. Advance notice is necessary, we work on a schedule.
Why
was my lawn not serviced this week?
If your lawn is not serviced on the scheduled day,
the cause is usually poor weather or possibly a mechanical
failure regarding vehicle equipment or health issue
workers. If your lawn is not serviced for an entire
week, it is likely due to excessive sun with no precipitation.
We take care to not stress already weak grass during
these dry periods. We may only do service to flower beds edge and clean property and give the grass a break, to allow time to grow.
Can
I request a specific day for service?
Yes, please request it before the mowing season begins,
we try to fulfill your request. If the schedule is
such that your request cannot be fulfilled we will
work with you to find a solution.
Can
Ace take care of my landscape needs?
Yes. Ace provides full service including irrigation
installation, brick paving, retaining walls, cement
driveway or walkway, bed installation, all plantings and
small-scale earth sculpting. Please use the form on
the contact page of this site to inquire further on
landscaping needs.
Can
I request to be skipped one week?
Absolutely. We would appreciate it greatly if you
can email or phone us at least 3 days in advance to
your service day (there may be a surchage
for this request).

How
is pricing for lawn service determined?
Service cost is determined by materials, machinery,
labor, garbage, debris and length of time to complete the job.
This sometimes is reflective of property size but
can become highly disproportionate if there are many
trim-required areas.
Can
I arrange short-term lawn service?
Absolutely. Let us know when you sign on for service
if you desire to be a seasonal contract customer or
a time limited account. Time limited accounts do not
benefit from the online tools that seasonal contracts
do (a surchage may apply due to conditions
of work area).
Can
I obtain bi-weekly regular lawn service?
Yes you can, although bi-weekly only accounts are
priced slightly higher than they would be if on a
weekly schedule. The reason for the inflated cost
is the extra work, debris and consequently, time,
involved in keeping the property as presentable as
weekly service does.
Can
I request a specific day for service?
Yes, please request it before the moving season begins,
we try to fulfill your request. If the schedule is
such that your request cannot be fulfilled we will
work with you to find a solution.

What
type of equipment does Ace use?
In the summer, Ace uses Lawn Boy mowing equipment,
Husquvarna trimming and Redmax blowing accessories,
Ford Trucks and a 2004 Chevrolet dump truck.
How
long has the Ace Group been Operating?
I have been servicing the Nassau and Queens Counties region for
20 years, I bought the business 5 years ago.
Do
you have Liability, and workers comp. coverage and a pesticide license with town permits?
Ace provides all documentation upon request by our
clients. We are insured through Grober Insurance for
vehicle and liability. Workers comp. with farm family our liability coverage
is $1,000.00 and we also have pesticide insurance and is certified by the DEC for pesticide application on lawns, trees and shrubs.
